China’s median line violations suggest Taiwan ‘decapitation’ rehearsal

Surging incursions from Chinese jets are rewriting the status quo in the Taiwan Strait - and leaving the U.S. with few good options. 

"This is a way of basically increasing the daily military pressure on Taiwan," said [SSP Director M. Taylor Fravel]. "It's hard to distinguish if an airplance crossing the median line is going to be launching missiles agaisnt Taipei, or if it's going to turn around and go back."
